Days Out And About 2015

Below are details and pictures of various days out that myself, friends and other museum members have had on GCS 50V, HSD 73V, B509 YAT and E187 HSF. This page of course will be updated over time! If anyone has any other pictures taken on any of these days out please let me know!

Sunday 17th May 2015

Sunday 17th May was the 2015 spring running day at SVBM Lathalmond as in previous years the weather stayed dry for most of the day. This year it was the turn of my Clydeside Scottish Leyland Leopard GCS 50V to take part in the event. My Orkney Coaches Bedford YNT B509 YAT was also on display.

Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August 2015


This was the weekend of the annual SVBM two day open day event held at Lathalmond. Just one of my vehicles attended this year, GCS 50V however B509 YAT was also on display. The weather was great, helped out in the bar again this year which was again fun. Camped over on the Saturday night with a few drinks catching up with friends. A great weekend was had by all and again no vehicles stuck in mud!

B509 YAT was also on display, not currently on the road, its hoped she will be back on the road for 2016. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2015.

KFF 586P Another Clyde vehicle, This fantastically restored Plaxton AEC representing Clyde Coast. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2015.

Another visiting vehicle this time representing Alexander's coachworks. I think its safe to assume this is one vehicle that wont be visiting again next year. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2015.

Another run out with GCS 50V during the weekend. This time to Saline terminal on Sunday 16th August 2015.


Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October 2015


This was the weekend of the annual GVVT open day. This year for the first time the event was a two day open day. Just one of my vehicles took part this year, E187 HSF however HSD 73V was also on display. E187 HSF completed a few journeys to the Riverside museum via the City Centre. The weather was good and the weekend was great fun
